Cariely Portraits provides a luxury maternity and newborn photography experience and specializes in classic, timeless, minimalist portraiture that keeps the focus on you and the connection in the photograph. My newborn sessions are baby-led, meaning, I do not pose babies in unnatural poses but rather emphasize on what babies naturally do because babies are perfect just the way they are. I purposely keep props to a minimum to keep the focus on what’s most important, your bump, your newborn baby, and the unique features and details of both.
Maternity sessions take place at our San Diego Portrait Studio between 28-34 weeks. Newborn sessions take place between 7-14 days old and I am here to help you every step of the way, from the wardrobe, flattering and natural posing to designing custom artwork of your favorite images from our session. I know how unique and important everyone’s motherhood journey is and how fleeting the newborn stage is and I want your portrait experience to be nothing short of memorable and enjoyable.
